The concept
Life insurance policies are concluded by incorporating existing custody accounts, for example with a life asset portfolio (LAP) or a variable universal life (VUL) solution. Such products offer considerable flexibility in terms of inheritance planning and tax efficiencies. The main difference here is that VUL solutions grant a very high level of death coverage, whereas in the case of LAP solutions the death coverage is a defined percentage of the portfolio value.
